POSMETRO.ID | PALEMBANG - South Sumatra Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Andi Rian R Djajadi SIK MH, presided over the handover ceremony for key officials of the South Sumatra Regional Police and the Empat Lawang Police Chief.
The handover ceremony took place at the Ampera Lounge on the 7th floor of the Precision Building at South Sumatra Police Headquarters on Friday, January 10, 2024.
Notable changes in leadership include Brigadier General Andreas Kusmaedi, the outgoing Director of Water Police at the South Sumatra Regional Police, who has been reassigned as the Principal Policy Analyst in the Water Police Division of the National Police Security Maintenance Agency. His replacement, Commissioner Sonny Mahar Budi Adityawan, previously served as the Director of Security for Vital Objects at the South Sumatra Regional Police.
Meanwhile, Commissioner Heru Agung Nugroho, formerly the Director of Facility Security at the Forensic Laboratory Management Bureau of the Criminal Investigation Agency, will now take over as Director of Vital Object Security at the South Sumatra Police.
Commissioner Sugeng Hariyadi, the previous Head of the Forensic Laboratory at the South Sumatra Police, has been reassigned as a Policy Analyst in the Forensic Laboratory Division of the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency, in preparation for further training in 2025. His position has been filled by Commissioner Witdiardi, formerly the Deputy Director of Special Criminal Investigation at the South Sumatra Police.
Empat Lawang Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Dody Surya Putra, has also been reassigned as the Police Chief of Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan. He is succeeded by Senior Commissioner Abdul Aziz Septiadi, who previously served in the Legal Division of the National Police Headquarters.
The ceremony was attended by South Sumatra Deputy Police Chief Brigadier General M. Zulkarnain, Police Inspector of South Sumatra Kombes Feri Handoko Soenarso, senior officials of the South Sumatra Police, local police chiefs, and representatives from the officer corps.
