POSMETRO.ID | LUBUKLINGGAU — Thousands of trail bike enthusiasts from across Indonesia gathered in the city of Lubuk Linggau for the Silampari Trail Adventure (STA) 6, held to commemorate the 24th Anniversary of Lubuk Linggau City.
The event, which took place at Silampari Sports Park (TOM) on Sunday (November 2, 2025), was officially opened by Lubuk Linggau Mayor H. Rachmat Hidayat, who also joined the adventure ride alongside participants.
He was accompanied by Dandim 0406 Lt. Col. Inf Arie Prasetyo Widyo Broto, Regional Secretary H. Trisko Defriyansa, STA Chairman Didit Armansyah, and STA 6 Committee Chairman Febrio Fadilah.
In his remarks, Mayor Rachmat expressed his gratitude and admiration for the participants’ enthusiasm and the organizing committee’s hard work in hosting this large-scale national event.
“This STA 6 event is truly remarkable. Nearly 2,500 riders joined from various provinces. Thank you to everyone who came to Lubuk Linggau. This event is not only about sports but also drives our local economy,” he said.
A total of 2,498 riders took part in the event, representing 14 provinces, including Aceh, Bali, Bengkulu, Jambi, West Java, Central Java, Bangka Belitung Islands, Riau Islands, Lampung, Riau, West Sumatra, South Sumatra, and North Sumatra.
According to the mayor, the two-day event generated an estimated Rp6 billion (approximately USD 375,000) in local economic activity, benefiting hotels, restaurants, transportation, and small businesses.
While acknowledging some shortcomings, particularly along the trail route, he promised better preparation for next year’s event.
“God willing, we’ll make it even better next year. Riders are not just chasing prizes but also seeking challenging tracks. Many senior riders have said that Lubuk Linggau’s trail routes are truly special,” he added.
The event concluded with a door prize drawing, featuring a YZ 250 motorcycle as the grand prize, followed by 10 Honda Revo units and numerous other consolation prizes.
